IPBartenders at the Class Bar Awards 2007 - November 26th @ Bloomsbury Club, London
The Class Bar Awards is unarguably the finest awards event in the bar trade and IPBartenders were all over it. Coming straight after the Appleton Bartending Final, we supplied all the bartenders working from 3 cocktails bars serving 12 different sponsors cocktails in a real test of Nick's organisational skills!
We weren't just employed on the night though, Ben was nominated in the 'Brand Ambassador of the Year' category for his work with Appleton and he presented the 'Best Bar Team' award on behalf of the brand. IPBartenders themselves sponsored the 'Bar Retail Brand of the Year' which was given to the Elbow Rooms. Congratulations to Justin Carter and the team.
An amazing night was had by all and thanks to all the team who worked so hard. Here are just some of the pics;

Licensed Trade Charity Summer Ball - 7th June 2007
IPBartenders did their bit for charity this week, providing their services for to the worthy Licensed Trade Charity Summer Fundraiser.
In the run up to the awards, IPBartenders were involved in the superb Pallini Cocktail Competition, where bartenders from across the country competed to win an Italian trip and the chance for their cocktail to be immortalised at the Summer Ball.
From a ton of entries we shortlisted 6 to compete at Frankie Dettori and Marco Pierre White's venue 'Frankies', and no-one disappointed. Eventually, Tom Vernon from Trio in Leeds won out with his beautiful Vanilla Sky featuring Pallini Limoncello, Stoli Vanilla, maraschino and Kina Lillet, balanced with a touch of lemon juice and served up.
This drink was served at pre-dinner at the LTC Summer Ball to 250 guests. Here are some pics of Nick and Tom Vernon in action

Observer Food Monthly Awards hosted by Gordon Ramsay
On behalf of the lovely team at Whyte and Mackay, IPB team members Nick, Glen and Steve Jobes tended bar at the OFM annual awards.
We also created a special cocktail for the event to celebrate the best of British food;
50ml Whyte and Mackay, 10ml Boiron Rhubarb Puree, 100ml Millets Farm bramley apple and pear juice, 15ml lime, 10 gomme and 2 dashes of orange bitters. Shaken and served over cubed in a highball with an apple fan.

Ben Reed @ Jamie Oliver's 'Big Night In' charity auction.
As ambassador for Appleton Rum, Ben was asked to go along to Jamie's Big Night In to mix some drinks with celebs, and got stuck in. Ben taught Jamie, Tess Daley, Kevin Spacey and others to make Appleton drinks which were auctioned off to the assembled crowd. The event was a huge success, making all the morning's papers, and while Ben was glamming it with the celebs, Glen Hooper was running the bar with Nick Wykes.

the scene of the most exclusive and talked about party of the year, the premiere of the new Bond movie, Casino Royale.
obviously only the finest bartender event company would do, so ipbartenders put together an all-star team. and they served an all-star guest list - Elton John, Daniel Craig, Paris Hilton, Girls Aloud, Al Fayed, the Fleming and Branson families, Jason Statham and many many more including that one who used to be Dexter Fletcher out of Press Gang.
